Dear Friends, In the book of Psalms, God's call to "defend the poor and fatherless" rings loud and clear. He commands us to bring the children to Him. When I was a child, the Lord placed His burden on my heart. Recently, the Lord chose to deepen my zeal and passion for the world's little ones. By God's grace, the fires have been kindled with a brilliance that I hope will never dwindle! In fact, He is giving me the opportunity now to be involved with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Connecticut (CEF of CT). CEF works to reach children with the Gospel, to disciple them and establish them in local Bible-believing churches. This summer, CEF of CT was able to reach over 1600 children with the Gospel! As they seek to disciple these children, they have asked me to be the Education Coordinator for the first season of Bible Club Team. My job will be to oversee the training of young people and adults who will be taking the Good News of Jesus to the children in public schools, government houseing developments and other meeting places. We are looking forward to the miracles God has in store for the coming days and months! My experiences in various cities in Michigan, as well as Boston, New York City, Indianapolis, and at an orphanage/school in India, have brought me a deep awareness of the needs in urban and suburban areas. I have concluded that every child in the world has the same basic needs: to be loved and to know Jesus Christ, the Supreme Lover. As I ponder the events of my life, I recall the intense fulfillment I experience when I am able to share the Truth of Jesus with teens and children. I know that God has called me and will enable me to fulfill His plan as I serve in Connecticut. God has prompted me to believe Him for 1,000 people that will regularly uphold me and the needs of the ministry in prayer. I am looking forward to sharing evidences of God's faithfulness with you in the next few months! I know that I will be privileged to know His love in deeper ways through your prayerful support. Thank you for helping me reach the lost children and train willing young people for the work of Christ! May our faithful Abba pour His blessings upon you! your servant for Jesus' sake, Sarah Therese Breznau ~ 1 Cor. 2:9-10 |
